Bancroft is hiring a Licensed Behavior Analyst - Adults

About the Role

This position involves designing and implementing behavior intervention plans for adults using applied behavior analysis principles, ensuring individualized and ethical care.

Responsibilities

  • Assess behavioral needs of adult clients through direct observation and data collection
  • Develop individualized behavior support plans based on assessment findings
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure consistent implementation of strategies
  • Train support staff on behavior intervention techniques and data recording procedures
  • Monitor client progress through ongoing data analysis and adjust plans as needed
  • Conduct functional behavior assessments to identify triggers and functions of behaviors
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards
  • Communicate regularly with families and guardians about client progress
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff and trainees as required
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in client records
  • Participate in client reviews and team meetings
  • Provide crisis prevention and response support when necessary
  • Promote client dignity, independence, and community integration
  • Ensure all interventions align with ethical guidelines and best practices
  • Coordinate with external service providers and agencies
  • Support transitions between programs or living environments
  • Conduct regular program evaluations to assess effectiveness
  • Implement skill acquisition programs tailored to adult learners
  • Address challenging behaviors using proactive and positive strategies
  • Uphold client rights and person-centered planning principles

Compensation
