Jerry.ai is looking for a driven Legal Researcher (Mandarin/English) to join our team. We are searching for a diligent and ambitious individual who thrives on hands-on learning. In this role, you will work closely with our founders and executive leadership team, focusing on compliance and research.
What You'll Do
- Research legal requirements and manage licensing and compliance for product offerings based on federal and state laws
- Research local laws and regulations in China
- Conduct thorough contract reviews to ensure compliance with state insurance, finance, and data privacy laws
- Draft and review agreements with partners and vendors
- Assist in designing, implementing, and improving legal and compliance policies to manage business risks
What We're Looking For
- A strong academic background in law, such as a Bachelor’s degree, JD, LLM, or PhD in a legal field
- Fluency in both Mandarin and English (written and spoken)
- Strong ability to quickly synthesize and apply new information
- Impeccable attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills
- A strong sense of ownership and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
