ExtraHop is hiring a Legal Counsel to support our global commercial operations. In this role, you will provide critical legal support with a focus on sales transactions, strategic alliances, procurement, and other commercial activities. You’ll work closely with leadership to ensure our commercial engagements comply with legal standards and advance our business goals.
What You'll Do
- Provide prompt and clear legal advice to leadership, sales, and stakeholders on contract positions, regulatory compliance, and information security/data privacy.
- Review, negotiate, and draft a variety of agreements to ensure legal compliance and protect the organization's interests.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external counsel to ensure contractual relationships and policies meet legal and company standards.
- Prepare and conduct training for sales and leadership teams on legal risks and compliance requirements.
- Assist with complex cross-functional strategic initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- Juris Doctor or equivalent from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to, and in good standing with, the bar in at least one US jurisdiction.
- Minimum five years of legal practice with significant experience negotiating legal/commercial terms for technology contracts.
- Prior experience in a corporate legal department.
- Experience with SaaS agreements or similar software licensing contracts.
- Demonstrated expertise in negotiating complex contractual arrangements with enterprise counterparties.
- Knowledge of laws, rules, and regulations related to cybersecurity, information security, and privacy.
- Expertise in identifying and resolving booking and revenue recognition issues in technology agreements.
Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation: $160,000-$175,000 annually.
