What You'll Do
Deliver engaging, in-person instruction for undergraduate courses in research methods, biobehavioral statistics, and foundational psychology subjects, including Introduction to Psychology, Social Cognitive Psychology, Psychopathology, and Developmental Psychology. Depending on expertise, teach advanced courses such as Advanced Research Methods and Diversity Issues in Psychology. Each semester, maintain a 12-credit teaching load, with classes meeting three hours per week. Prepare course materials, assess student performance through examinations, and offer regular office hours to support learning. Some courses may be taught remotely, allowing flexibility in delivery format.
Requirements
Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Psychology or a closely related field by the start date of August 15, 2025. The position requires demonstrated capability in teaching core psychological concepts and methodologies, with a strong foundation in quantitative and research-based coursework. Prior experience in higher education instruction is expected.
