Responsibilities
- Manage employee leave programs such as FMLA, CFRA, ADA accommodations, military and parental leave, paid sick leave, and state-specific leave policies
- Act as the main contact for employee inquiries, procedures, and documentation related to leave
- Coordinate with external leave administrators and insurance providers for short-term and long-term disability and paid family leave
- Monitor employee leave balances, eligibility, and return-to-work timelines with complete and compliant records
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local leave laws across multiple jurisdictions
- Work closely with HR Business Partners and management to assist employees throughout the leave lifecycle
- Support biweekly U.S. payroll processing with a focus on precision and thoroughness
- Verify payroll data accuracy, including time records, deductions, benefits, wage garnishments, and leave payments
- Handle payroll corrections tied to leave, retroactive pay, and off-cycle disbursements
- Assist with payroll audits, reconciliations, and year-end reporting including W-2s and state filings
- Collaborate with Finance, Benefits, and HRIS teams to maintain consistent data across platforms
- Keep employee records up to date in HRIS, payroll, and timekeeping systems
- Document and refine leave and payroll workflows to support growth in a SaaS environment
- Stay current on changes in employment, leave, and wage-hour laws and suggest necessary updates
- Support internal and external audit requests as required
