Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, with preference given to Human Resources
- 5 to 7 years of advancing experience in human resources, emphasizing leave of absence management
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent communication abilities and consistent demonstration of a professional, positive demeanor
- In-depth understanding of FMLA, ADA, USERRA, and applicable state and local leave regulations
- Proven experience handling intricate leave cases and applying regulatory guidelines
- Superior interpersonal skills for managing confidential and delicate matters
- Valid driver's license appropriate for assigned vehicles and a driving record acceptable to the company's review panel
Nice to Have
- Professional HR certification such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP
- Background working in multi-state or highly complex leave administration environments
