Sterling Group, a family-owned company with a family-friendly culture, is looking for a Leasing Consultant to achieve maximum occupancy at our properties. You'll be the first point of contact, generating leads and guiding prospects through tours, applications, leasing, and move-in procedures, all while upholding our credo: Creating the Sterling Story by exceeding expectations... one customer at a time!
What You'll Do
- Present a professional and friendly first impression for the community.
- Generate leads and handle all prospective traffic.
- Greet prospects in person and by phone.
- Conduct thorough property tours to highlight features.
- Qualify prospects based on established criteria.
- Lease apartments to qualified applicants.
- Prepare accurate and complete lease documentation.
- Complete all move-in paperwork and procedures.
- Perform all related duties as assigned in accordance with applicable laws and company policies.
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong interpersonal relations.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Proficient reading, writing and grammar skills.
- Ability to pass a drug test, criminal history and background checks.
Nice to Have
- Retail services or sales experience.
- Yardi Program knowledge.
