The Morgan Group is looking for a Leasing Consultant to be the face of our community. You will manage the leasing process from start to finish, build relationships with residents, and contribute to the overall success of our property operations.
What You'll Do
- Greet and qualify prospective residents, documenting all interactions.
- Demonstrate apartments and the community, applying product knowledge to close the sale.
- Process electronic applications, quotes, and ensure all lease paperwork is signed before move-in.
- Orient new residents and maintain positive resident relations, addressing requests and concerns.
- Assist with renewal processes, monitor advertising, and conduct market surveys of competitors.
- Accept rental payments and complete all leasing paperwork within the Property Management System.
- Contribute to community cleanliness, plan resident events, and participate in neighborhood marketing activities.
- Distribute communications via the property app and maintain accurate commission records.
- Consistently implement community policies and assist the management team with various operational tasks.
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Fair Housing Certification, or willingness to obtain it prior to interacting with prospects.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- At least two (2) years of relevant customer service experience; sales experience is required.
- Proficient user of email, the Internet, social media, and web-based applications.
- Strong organizational and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical functions accurately.
- Neat, clean, and professional appearance at all times.
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service, diffuse concerns, and comply with company policies.
- Must successfully pass a drug test.
Nice to Have
- Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree.
- Experience in the property management industry.

Team & Environment
You will be part of the on-site community team, working closely with the Property Manager, Assistant Community Manager, and Maintenance Supervisor, and reporting to the Community Manager.
