Adyen is looking for a Learning Experience Designer to create the educational content that helps K-12 students learn science and math. You will curate and produce high-quality articles, images, and videos, ensuring all materials are engaging, accurate, and accessible for teachers and students.
What You'll Do
- Curate and refine standards-aligned STEM articles, assessments, images, and videos from content partners for K-12 education.
- Occasionally author nonfiction articles and assessment items directly.
- Own content selection and leveling; write age-appropriate, editorially strong copy.
- Review content for standards alignment and suggest tooling improvements for this process.
- Run final quality assurance checks on metadata, guidelines, and best practices.
- Leverage AI for ideation, drafting, editing, and quality checks in the content workflow.
- Coordinate freelance writers and editors, providing actionable feedback.
- Partner with Operations and cross-functional teams, maintaining transparency in production tools.
- Lead or contribute to initiatives designed to meet specific teacher and student needs.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of professional experience developing STEM content for a publisher or educational technology company.
- Published writing and editing experience.
- Strong knowledge of science and math standards and STEM instructional methods.
- Experience designing lessons and assessments for various grade levels.
- Familiarity with educational publishing standards and instructional technology.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines consistently.
- Proficiency with content authoring tools like Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Learning Management Systems, and digital curriculum platforms.
- Comfort with and enthusiasm for using AI in the content development process.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience specifically writing or editing STEM content.
- Experience designing lessons and assessments for K-8 grade levels.
