nVent is looking for a Lean Specialist to champion our continuous improvement culture and support our Lean transformation efforts. You will be instrumental in driving waste reduction and operational excellence across the site.
What You'll Do
- Lead daily improvement events and participate in daily continuous improvement.
- Contribute to developing the annual Lean Transformation Plan based on value stream maps, Strategy Deployment objectives, and management system assessments.
- Facilitate Kaizen events in line with the site transformation plan.
- Support Lean Leadership and Department Managers with capacity and staffing level assessments.
- Work with line associates, process leaders, and value stream leaders to ensure daily safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency goals are met.
- Interpret, apply, and implement company safety rules and operating policies and procedures.
- Stay ahead of technologies and Lean concepts through continuing education and benchmarking.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (B.A., B.S.)
- Proven experience in implementing and leading Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement efforts and projects.
Nice to Have
- Engineering degree.
