Shape powerful stories that advance a life-saving mission. As Lead Writer for Enterprise Content, you’ll lead the creation of authentic, deeply reported narratives that fuel national marketing campaigns and deepen public engagement. Working across digital platforms, you’ll produce journalistic-quality content that reflects real impact—elevating awareness and support for critical medical research and patient care.

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of narrative frameworks and original story concepts that anchor enterprise-wide campaigns
  • Adapt and repurpose content across channels to expand reach and efficiency
  • Collaborate with writers and creative teams on structure, technique, and digital storytelling innovation
  • Provide editorial guidance and mentorship to strengthen organizational storytelling capacity
  • Partner with marketing, video, and audience strategy teams to align content with campaign goals
  • Develop narratives that accurately convey scientific progress and institutional milestones
  • Test emerging formats such as live storytelling, podcasts, and interactive content
  • Use performance data and audience insights to refine narrative strategies and engagement
  • Stay current with trends in journalism, brand publishing, and nonprofit storytelling
  • Ensure all content aligns with brand voice, mission, and strategic objectives

Qualifications

Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree, preferably in journalism, and bring at least 10 years of experience in writing, reporting, or digital content creation. Mastery of AP Style, strong editorial judgment, and fluency in digital platforms are essential. You must have a proven ability to lead content initiatives, interpret analytics, and collaborate across disciplines. Familiarity with communications law, copyright standards, and integrated campaigns with measurable outcomes is required.
