Grifols is hiring a Lead Technician to oversee the coordination and operations of the production schedule, shift, and personnel in a biologics processing environment for plasma-derived pharmaceuticals.
What You'll Do
- Oversee equipment setup and operation in a biologics processing environment.
- Adhere strictly to procedures and practices according to FDA regulations.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation according to FDA regulations.
- Follow departmental corporate safety policies.
- Perform facility and equipment cleaning.
- Work in a clean room (sanitized) manufacturing environment.
- Conduct basic process analysis for pH, refractive index, turbidity, and conductivity.
- Operate manufacturing equipment including ultrafiltration (UF) units, chromatography columns, Clean In Place (CIP) systems, Steam In Place (SIP) systems, and centrifuges.
- Utilize touch screen Operator Interface Terminals (OIT).
- Train entry level personnel.
- Perform complex and advanced job tasks.
- Assist management in coordinating and scheduling the department's day-to-day operations.
- Serve in a leadership role in the absence of direct supervision.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience in a pharmaceutical, GMP, or FDA regulated environment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of cGMPs, FDA regulations, and industry guidelines.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Proactive, results-oriented approach with strong attention to detail.
- Self-starter with strong work ethic and good judgment.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact at all levels in a team environment.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Flexibility with working hours and shifts to accommodate a 24-hour, 7 day plant operation.

- Associate’s degree, applicable certification, and/or military veteran status.
