About the Role

This role leads the creation and maintenance of technical documentation for enterprise-level software in the healthcare industry, working closely with engineering, product management, and quality assurance teams to deliver accurate, user-friendly content.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of technical documentation for software products
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather product information
  • Manage documentation lifecycle from planning to publication
  • Ensure content meets regulatory and compliance standards
  • Mentor junior writers and maintain documentation standards
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear user guidance
  • Oversee translation and localization processes
  • Use structured authoring tools and content management systems
  • Develop and maintain templates and style guides
  • Conduct peer reviews and quality assurance checks
  • Support agile development workflows
  • Create API documentation and developer resources
  • Produce release notes and version-specific updates
  • Integrate documentation into software user interfaces
  • Respond to stakeholder feedback on content
  • Track and report on documentation metrics
  • Stay current with industry trends in technical communication
  • Ensure accessibility standards are met in all deliverables
  • Participate in product design and planning meetings
  • Manage documentation timelines and deliverables
  • Work with UX teams to align content with user experience
  • Develop help systems and online support content
  • Support product training and knowledge transfer
  • Maintain version control for documentation assets
  • Drive continuous improvement in documentation processes
