GE HealthCare is looking for a Lead Supplier Quality Engineer to ensure supplier quality and compliance through qualifications, audits, and performance monitoring. You will lead improvement plans and act as a technical resource for colleagues.
What You'll Do
- Assure the quality of assigned suppliers, including implementing the quality plan.
- Select suppliers through qualification processes.
- Own supplier results and drive improvements using supplier scorecards.
- Conduct supplier audits, ensure compliance, and develop improvement plans.
- Lead supplier qualifications, action plans, audits, and performance monitoring.
- Track metrics and execute quality improvement plans to address problem areas.
- Review and approve quality plans, investigate quality escapes to provide root cause analysis, and ensure effective corrective actions.
- Mentor suppliers in the application of quality tools and requirements.
- Ensure compliance and drive improvement plans where needed.
- Review documentation and witness supplier practices to verify sound manufacturing and inspection principles.
- Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
- May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements.
- Convey performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues.
- Use judgment to propose solutions outside set parameters to address more complicated problems.
- Prioritize information for data analysis using technical experience and analytical thinking.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Quality, Manufacturing, Shop Operations, Supply Chain Materials, or Sourcing).
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Quality, Manufacturing, Shop Operations, Supply Chain Materials, or Sourcing.

- Compensation: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00
