About the Role
This role leads technical pre-sales support for Tableau products, working closely with sales teams to design customer-specific solutions, demonstrate product capabilities, and drive adoption through deep technical expertise and consultative engagement.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical discussions with enterprise clients during sales cycles
- Design and deliver customized demonstrations of Tableau solutions
- Collaborate with sales teams to understand client requirements
- Translate business needs into technical implementations
- Support proof of concept and pilot initiatives
- Provide input on product feedback from customer interactions
- Develop solution architectures aligned with client goals
- Assist in overcoming technical objections during procurement
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Tableau platform features
- Engage in strategic account planning with cross-functional teams
- Deliver technical workshops and training sessions
- Document solution designs and integration approaches
- Stay informed about industry trends in data analytics
- Advocate for customer needs within product development channels
- Coordinate with delivery teams during handoff phases
Nice to Have
- Tableau Desktop or Server certification
- Experience with Salesforce CRM integration
- Background in data warehousing technologies
- Exposure to agile or iterative delivery frameworks
- Prior leadership role in technical teams
