Salesforce, Inc. is hiring a Lead Solution Engineer for the Public Sector ECS team. You will be responsible for presenting Salesforce solutions based on customer business drivers, securing the technical win, and addressing all technical objections. You will partner closely with Sales to drive discovery, develop technical sales strategy, and demonstrate solutions with a focus on business value.
What You'll Do
- Understand customer goals and challenges and map those back to the Salesforce product portfolio.
- Design, build, and demonstrate innovative solutions to address customer challenges.
- Present Salesforce technology infrastructure, including demonstrating deep familiarity with hardware, software, networking and security stack.
- Participate in all appropriate product, sales, technical training and certifications to acquire and maintain necessary knowledge.
- Attain quarterly and annual objectives defined collaboratively with management.
- Respond effectively to RFIs/RFPs.
- Actively participate in a fast-paced high-energy market segment and balance multiple projects in a team-selling environment.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years experience as a solution/sales engineer for a CRM company or similar technology.
- Knowledge of related applications, relational database, web technology, and cyber-security.
- Solid oral, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a cross-functional team to solve technical problems.
Nice to Have
- US and/or Canada Public Sector, Federal Civilian industry experience.
- Familiarity with Salesforce technology.
- Familiarity with Government Cloud Compliance standards and certifications.
- Salesforce Ecosystem: Current Salesforce AI Specialist Certification (or equivalent). Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Service Cloud, and Salesforce App Builder certifications are highly desirable.

This is a local-city position based in McLean, VA, USA or Washington DC, USA.
