Salesforce, the #1 AI CRM, is hiring a Lead Solution Engineer for its Tableau/Analytics Solution Engineering team supporting the EMEA growth region. In this role, you will focus on providing technical expertise in data, business intelligence, predictive analytics, and AI to support customers and sales teams.
What You'll Do
- Engage customers and collaborate with account teams to understand their data and analytics needs for business success and transformation.
- Demonstrate how Tableau's platform and Salesforce Analytics solutions drive value through guided evaluations and tailored demonstrations.
- Conduct workshops for customers to understand the Tableau platform and drive adoption across multiple groups and stakeholders.
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers, guiding them on best practices and informing their data and analytics strategies.
- Develop and sustain expert-level knowledge of all aspects of the Tableau Platform, including data integration, visualization, analytics, governance, architecture, security, and scalability.
- Lead technical responses to RFPs and RFIs.
- Work closely with product management teams to stay updated on latest developments and provide feedback from the field.
- Create reusable assets that act as a force-multiplier for the extended teams.
What We're Looking For
- 6-10 years of hands-on experience in business intelligence, data integration, analytics, data warehouses/lakes, or related technologies.
- Fluency in both English and French.
- Solid data and analytics problem solving skills.
- Strong background in at least one BI platform such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Proven ability to build relationships with key stakeholders and customers.
- A degree or equivalent proven experience.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with predictive analytics and AI, especially machine learning.
- Working knowledge of data platforms such as Snowflake or Databricks; ML platforms such as Azure ML, Amazon SageMaker, or Google Vertex; as well as R and/or Python.
- Working knowledge of web technologies such as JavaScript, security protocols, application integration, and embedding.
