About the Role

GE HealthCare is seeking a Lead Resource Manager to develop strategies for hiring, retaining, training, and assigning resources. You will drive operational processes and compliance, establish operating rhythms for successful project execution, and contribute to long-term planning and overall business strategy.

What You'll Do

  • Manage field resource deployment planning and execution to meet customer and business metrics.
  • Interface with the EHS team to support internal and external EHS needs and documentation.
  • Provide support for I&C projects, LTSAs, or reactive service, potentially on-site.
  • Interface with service account managers on issue escalation.
  • Develop long-range forecasts for regional resource needs.
  • Develop and execute short and long-range resource plans based on forecasts and business commitments, including recruitment, skills reviews, and advanced training.
  • Serve as a people leader for a group of Field Service Engineers, handling staffing and performance development.
  • Perform rebuilding of desktops for MSC (Military Sealift Command).

What We're Looking For

  • A minimum of 4 years of Marine electrical experience in a services specialist, site manager, project manager, or other leadership role.
  • US Citizenship with the ability to achieve security clearance for Department of Defense projects.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 20% of the time on short notice.

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • Associate's Degree or related discipline from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 3 additional years of related industry experience.
  • High School diploma or GED equivalency with a minimum of 6 years of related industry experience.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
  • Established project management skills.
  • Ability to execute increasingly complicated assignments requiring engineering skill, creative ability, and independent judgment.
  • Detailed knowledge, competence, and expertise with installation and commissioning tasks and services.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management skills resulting in success.
  • Experience serving as a customer focal point on project sites and managing subcontractors or partner contracts.
  • Solid technical background, project management, and services experience.
  • Construction subcontracting and contract administration experience.
