About the Role

Gevernova is hiring a Lead Project Scheduler to develop and maintain integrated project schedules for a medium portfolio, supporting on-time delivery analysis and continuous improvement of Project Control processes. You'll be responsible for critical path analysis for complex projects within the Power/Energy, Utilities, or Infrastructure sectors.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and maintain integrated project schedules for a medium portfolio of projects.
  • Support continuous improvement of Project Control, Planning & Scheduling processes and develop/maintain KPIs & critical path analysis.
  • Conduct ITO (Tendering) to OTR (Execution) handover, including receiving bid schedules and contract details.
  • Lead Commitment Meetings with functional owners to resolve schedule disconnects and agree on project baselines.
  • Set up integrated project schedule in Primavera P6 (including L3/L2 and S curves) in alignment with global processes.
  • Ensure schedules accurately reflect project scope and execution strategy.
  • Continuously monitor project on-time delivery performance and proactively highlight slippages.
  • Update project schedule based on inputs from the team to ensure it reflects project status.
  • Perform weekly/monthly schedule analysis to identify critical impacts and suggest mitigations.
  • Ensure project schedule updates and KPIs are reflected in various tools (Planner Dashboard, OTD Tracker, Pulse & WIPT).
  • Work with project team to identify and reflect mitigation strategies in the schedule.
  • Escalate critical project issues to the internal project manager and project team.
  • Ensure reports for other functions and customers accurately reflect project equipment status.
  • Communicate to functions the impact of execution strategy changes on required dates.
  • Act as a resource for project team members, providing data, analysis, and root causes of schedule variances.
  • Perform critical path analysis for deliverables to ensure no impact to contract dates.
  • Support claims (EOT, etc.) by performing delay analysis for extension of time and cost claims.
  • Leverage experience to participate in discussions and provide feedback to improve Planning team processes and tools.

What We're Looking For

  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
  • 5 years experience in Project Control Planning & Scheduling function within an EPC environment.
  • 3 years of experience with Oracle Primavera P6 or equivalent project, program and portfolio management tools (Primavera P6 preferred).
  • Candidates must have experience in Power/Energy, Utilities, Manufacturing, Power Plant, Infrastructure/Construction industries.
  • Must be willing to work on East Coast time zone (EST) hours, supporting Project Management Offices.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in Extension of time claims / forensic planning.
  • Knowledge in of power plant principles and work processes of EPC environments.
  • Experience of working with international teams and complex environment and open for travel.
  • Site Scheduling exposure.
  • Resources loading in P6 schedules.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Resilient and ability to work under pressure.
