Role Overview
Lead the planning and execution of environmental remediation projects from concept through completion, with primary operations based in Fort Collins and collaboration across multiple regional offices. This position supports environmental justice and Brownfields redevelopment efforts, combining technical expertise with project leadership to deliver measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Define project scope, objectives, and success criteria in alignment with client and regulatory requirements
- Direct all phases of remediation projects, including site investigation, risk assessment, and cleanup implementation
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation to ensure on-time, on-target delivery
- Provide technical review and quality assurance for field and design activities
- Lead and mentor project teams, including junior staff, subcontractors, and vendors
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders to report progress, address challenges, and adjust strategies as needed
- Identify and proactively manage risks related to schedule, cost, or technical performance
- Support business development by engaging clients and demonstrating technical capabilities
- Oversee multiple projects simultaneously and guide other project managers when required
- Ensure compliance with environmental standards and consistent achievement of financial goals
Work Environment
This role operates under a hybrid model with primary office locations in Fort Collins, CO, and additional support hubs in California and Texas. Remote applicants within the U.S. are welcome and will be considered based on operational needs.
