Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Lead Planner/Scheduler to join our team, providing scheduling as a core project controls function on a large-scale project. You will bring deep knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems and a proven track record of successfully delivering construction project control services while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
What You'll Do
- Develop, monitor, and update the owner's Project Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
- Establish the schedule management program and deliverables for large-scale capital programs.
- Interface with project stakeholders as a trusted advisor, providing guidance and recommendations.
- Develop, update, and manage detailed project schedules using industry-standard planning tools.
- Coordinate closely with design, engineering, construction, and commissioning teams to ensure schedule accuracy.
- Identify schedule risks and opportunities, providing mitigation strategies and recommendations.
- Lead schedule review meetings and present updates to internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Monitor progress and performance against the baseline schedule, producing look-ahead schedules and reports.
- Ensure alignment between MEP installation sequencing and overall project milestones.
- Analyze and incorporate vendor, subcontractor, and procurement schedules into the master schedule.
- Support delay analysis and change management as required.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of applicable experience.
- Proven on-site experience as a Senior or Lead Planner/Scheduler with data center knowledge.
- Strong expertise in MEP systems and understanding of their design and construction sequencing.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent scheduling software.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex technical information.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, technically complex environments.
