Turner & Townsend is hiring a Lead Planner/Scheduler

About the Role

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Lead Planner/Scheduler to join our team, providing scheduling as a core project controls function on a large-scale project. You will bring deep knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems and a proven track record of successfully delivering construction project control services while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

What You'll Do

  • Develop, monitor, and update the owner's Project Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
  • Establish the schedule management program and deliverables for large-scale capital programs.
  • Interface with project stakeholders as a trusted advisor, providing guidance and recommendations.
  • Develop, update, and manage detailed project schedules using industry-standard planning tools.
  • Coordinate closely with design, engineering, construction, and commissioning teams to ensure schedule accuracy.
  • Identify schedule risks and opportunities, providing mitigation strategies and recommendations.
  • Lead schedule review meetings and present updates to internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor progress and performance against the baseline schedule, producing look-ahead schedules and reports.
  • Ensure alignment between MEP installation sequencing and overall project milestones.
  • Analyze and incorporate vendor, subcontractor, and procurement schedules into the master schedule.
  • Support delay analysis and change management as required.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of applicable experience.
  • Proven on-site experience as a Senior or Lead Planner/Scheduler with data center knowledge.
  • Strong expertise in MEP systems and understanding of their design and construction sequencing.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent scheduling software.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex technical information.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, technically complex environments.

  • Experience across data centers, life sciences, and high-tech manufacturing.
