This role is responsible for leading the development, execution, and ongoing management of integrated project schedules across Equipment Only (EO), Engineering, Equipment & Procurement (EEP), and Turnkey (TK) projects. Working closely with the Project Management Office and internal cross-functional teams, the planner ensures schedules reflect project scope, execution strategy, and contractual commitments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in bid-to-award transitions, including ITO to OTR handover, to capture initial schedule assumptions, risks, and contract requirements.
  • Engage in customer kickoff meetings and follow up on action items impacting schedule execution.
  • Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and delivery teams during release meetings to define project scope and support Delivery Matrix development.

  • Ensure project schedules accurately represent current status by incorporating regular updates from the GEV team and validating data integrity.

  • Monitor on-time delivery performance and maintain KPIs across reporting platforms such as Planner Dashboard, OTD Tracker, Pulse, and WIPT.
  • Identify and escalate schedule risks, delays, or data inaccuracies, assigning corrective actions to responsible parties.
  • Support change management by communicating the scheduling impact of execution strategy adjustments to relevant functions.
  • Perform delay analysis and support extension of time (EOT) claims using forensic planning techniques when required.
  • Provide root cause analysis for schedule variances and support resolution planning across project teams.
  • Contribute to process improvements in planning tools and methodologies, leveraging field experience and technical insight.

Qualifications

A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required, along with a minimum of five years of experience in project controls, planning, and scheduling within an EPC environment. Proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6 or similar scheduling tools is essential, with at least three years of hands-on experience.

Preferred candidates will have exposure to site scheduling, experience with resource loading in P6, and familiarity with power plant project workflows. Background in extension of time claims and forensic analysis is highly valued. Strong communication skills and the ability to interpret complex project data are critical. Occasional travel (up to 10%) may be required.
