Gevernova is hiring a Lead Project Construction and EPC Planner & Scheduler to drive continuous improvement of Project Controls, Planning & Scheduling processes. You will provide scheduling leadership for complex Equipment Only, Engineering, Equipment & Procurement, and Turnkey projects, developing integrated schedules to support reporting and on-time delivery analysis.
What You'll Do
- Conduct ITO to OTR handover meeting to receive L1 bid schedule and contract details.
- Understand and confirm ITO assumptions and risk summary.
- Attend Customer Kickoff Meeting and follow up on open schedule-related action items.
- Attend release meetings led by ITO to understand project scope and contribute to Delivery Matrix development.
- Develop Commitment Meeting file based on functional inputs and lead the meeting to resolve schedule disconnects and agree on project baseline.
- Set up integrated project schedule in Oracle Primavera P6 (including L3/L2 and S curves) baseline aligned with internal processes.
- Ensure schedules accurately reflect project scope and execution strategy.
- Continuously monitor project on-time delivery performance and proactively monitor schedule to highlight slippages and identify corrective actions.
- Update project schedule based on inputs from team to ensure accurate project status.
- Perform weekly/monthly schedule analysis to identify critical impacts and suggest mitigations.
- Ensure project schedule updates and KPIs are reflected in tools like Planner Dashboard, OTD Tracker, Pulse & WIPT.
- Work with project team to identify mitigation strategies and ensure they are reflected in schedule.
- Escalate critical project issues to internal project manager and project team.
- Ensure reports for other functions and customers accurately reflect project equipment status.
- Communicate to functions the impact of execution strategy changes on required dates.
- Act as a resource for project team members, providing data, analysis, and root causes of schedule variances.
- Perform critical path analysis for deliverables to ensure no impact to contract dates.
- Perform delay analysis to support extension of time and cost claims.
- Participate in discussions to provide feedback to improve processes and tools for the Planning team.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
- 5 years experience in Project Control Planning & Scheduling function within an EPC environment.
- 3 years of experience with Oracle Primavera P6 or equivalent project, program and portfolio management tools.
Nice to Have
- Experience in Extension of time claims / forensic planning.
- Knowledge in of power plant principles and work processes of EPC environments.
- Site Scheduling exposure.
- Resources loading in P6 schedules.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Open for travel up to 10%.

- For Canadian-based position: $105,000.00 - $145,000.00 CAD. For U.S. based position: $100,000.00 - $166,700.00 USD with geographic differential.
