ezCater is looking for a Lead People Analyst to lead our People Analytics function, helping leaders make informed, data-driven decisions across the entire employee lifecycle. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role where you will build best-in-class visualizations and empower stakeholders through data literacy and storytelling.
What You'll Do
- Lead end-to-end development of dynamic dashboards for headcount, attrition, performance, recruiting, DEI, compensation, and engagement.
- Help launch a series of dynamic dashboards for C-level executives and business leaders.
- Deliver data literacy training focused on data storytelling, dashboard interpretation, and action planning.
- Run discovery sessions to translate business questions into actionable reports.
- Play a key role in building capabilities to deliver predictive analyses across the business.
- Partner with the People Operations team to surface operational gaps and data quality issues.
- Identify integration opportunities and work with data engineering teams to shape data models for multi-source reporting.
- Own the creation of people-related reports for workforce planning.
- Create and maintain documentation of key metrics, definitions, and reporting processes.
- Uphold data privacy, governance, and security best practices.
- Manage stakeholder expectations, timelines, and change management.
- Continuously improve tooling and processes by automating workflows and streamlining reporting.
- Partner with the Data Technology team to integrate platform data into structured data marts.
What We're Looking For
- 3-5 years building interactive dashboards in a data visualization platform.
- At least 1 year in a people analytics function or closely collaborating with a people team.
- Expert proficiency with SQL and experience working with relational databases and data warehouses.
- Strong blend of descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics experience.
- Experience integrating and visualizing data across HRIS, ATS, performance management, and compensation systems.
- Excellent communication skills and a proven track record partnering with People team members and cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to translate ambiguous business questions into clear metrics, visual designs, and analytical outputs.
- Strong attention to detail, an entrepreneurial mindset, and a bias toward action.
- Commitment to data privacy and governance, particularly with sensitive employee data.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Sigma is ideal.
- Python experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with UKG, Greenhouse, and Culture Amp is ideal.
- Hands-on experience using IBM Cognos BI for report development and/or dashboard creation is ideal.
- Experience building data models with dbt is nice to have.
