Responsibilities
- Oversee the successful commissioning, testing, and operational performance of the Engineering Test Unit in coordination with peer lead operators
- Create operational procedures and instructional materials for the Engineering Test Unit and Salt Production Facility
- Diagnose and resolve problems with equipment, electrical systems, and instrumentation
- Lead and conduct pre-job safety and task briefings for internal stakeholders
- Work closely with engineering teams to understand test objectives and associated hazards
- Operate control systems including SCADA, HMI, and control panels, as well as high-temperature pilot systems and mechanical equipment
- Perform routine plant walkthroughs to visually inspect equipment and confirm normal operations
- Adhere to standard and emergency operating procedures until operational issues are fully resolved
- Design and implement test execution procedures
- Maintain personal and team safety as the highest priority during all activities
- Perform additional assigned tasks as needed
