Lead Generation Specialist – Remote Opportunity
Role Overview
In this remote position, you’ll drive growth by identifying and qualifying new and reactivated business leads within designated geographic areas. Your focus will be on building a steady flow of professional trades customers through targeted outreach, research, and collaboration with sales teams. You’ll represent a trusted supplier of tools and equipment, connecting with prospects via phone, email, and digital channels to understand their needs and position our offerings as a reliable solution.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities using trade lists, public records, associations, and community networks
- Reactivate inactive professional accounts and identify expansion potential with underpenetrated customers
- Conduct in-depth research to pinpoint decision-makers and tailor outreach strategies
- Execute consistent outbound engagement through cold calling, email campaigns, and digital follow-up
- Verify and update contact details, trade type, service areas, and business scope
- Recognize early buying signals and ensure leads meet qualification standards
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in CRM systems to support seamless handoffs
- Collaborate with sales teams to align on prospecting strategies and market development
- Meet daily activity benchmarks for calls, emails, and pipeline generation
- Use data insights to refine outreach and improve engagement effectiveness
- Share best practices and contribute to continuous improvement within the team
Qualifications
We value a strong work ethic and dedication to service. Candidates should have:
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
- 1–3 years in lead generation, market development, or demand creation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM or lead management platforms
- Strong research, data validation, and organizational abilities
- Excellent communication and active listening skills
- Ability to work independently with a results-driven mindset
- Flexibility to operate in Central or Eastern Time zones
- Experience engaging professionals in non-sales contexts
- Familiarity with light industrial products is a plus
Work Environment
