About the Role
The Lead Family Mentor will oversee mentorship initiatives for families, ensuring consistent delivery of support services and acting as a primary point of contact for mentor teams and clinical partners.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate family mentor activities across assigned regions
- Provide direct support to family members of patients in care programs
- Train and supervise mentor team members to maintain service quality
- Collaborate with clinical staff to align mentorship with treatment goals
- Monitor engagement levels and track family participation metrics
- Develop resources tailored to family education and emotional support needs
- Facilitate group sessions and one-on-one mentoring meetings
- Respond to urgent family concerns with timely and empathetic guidance
- Maintain accurate records of all mentorship interactions
- Ensure adherence to program protocols and confidentiality standards
- Participate in regular team meetings and case reviews
- Contribute to the improvement of mentorship curricula and materials
- Model effective communication strategies for mentor team members
- Support onboarding and ongoing development of new mentors
- Coordinate scheduling to ensure consistent family coverage
- Escalate complex cases to clinical leadership when appropriate
