The Lead Development Representative drives sales growth in the high-tech industry by qualifying and accelerating partner-led deals, maintaining precise Salesforce records, and leading outbound outreach to SMB and unattended markets. Based in Barcelona, this hybrid position requires strong proficiency in both Swedish and English.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and advance opportunities driven by partners to increase win rates and reduce sales cycle length.
- Work closely with partners and channel managers to ensure efficient deal progression.
- Ensure Salesforce data accuracy by maintaining hygiene and following up on stale opportunities.
- Close or reassign opportunities based on defined sales stages and value criteria.
- Deliver structured feedback to improve the quality of leads from partners.
- Develop and document best practices for collaboration in pilot countries.
- Coordinate with Business Development Representatives (BDRs) to manage and convert Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs).
- Ensure timely follow-up and correct routing of MQLs from BDR teams.
- Proactively identify and engage new prospects in SMB and unattended segments using phone, email, and LinkedIn.
- Research target accounts to understand customer needs, key decision-makers, and buying triggers.
- Customize messaging to highlight relevant solutions and value propositions for small and mid-sized businesses.
- Execute outbound sales campaigns aligned with regional and product-specific goals.
- Collaborate with country sales and channel teams to build recovery and sales plans.
- Create and manage opportunities in unattended accounts, ensuring proper follow-up and closure.
- Uphold strict data management and CRM discipline within Salesforce.
- Monitor and analyze metrics including opportunity progression, lead aging, and conversion rates.
- Support faster closing of SMB deals valued between $20,000 and $50,000.
- Ensure seamless handoffs to account managers or inside sales with complete deal context.
Requirements
- Fluency or bilingual proficiency in Swedish.
- Fluency or bilingual proficiency in English.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in lead generation, sales development, or inside sales, preferably in high-tech, SaaS, or B2B environments.
- Demonstrated success in lead generation, cold calling, and delivering sales presentations.
- Track record of exceeding sales quotas.
- Confident and effective in inbound and outbound phone communication with strong phone etiquette.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms, along with outreach tools such as Outreach or Salesloft.
- Analytical thinking with a self-driven attitude focused on achieving individual and team goals.
- Collaborative mindset with adaptability in fast-paced settings.

- Organized with solid skills in pipeline management, time management, and prioritization.
