Salesforce is looking for a Lead Developer Documentation Specialist for Data Cloud. You will play a crucial role in creating content that enables developers to build on and extend Data Cloud, collaborating with stakeholders to understand developer needs and deliver industry-leading documentation.
What You'll Do
- Create and maintain developer-focused documentation for Data Cloud, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and subject matter experts.
- Use AI tools for content creation, review, and research to enhance documentation quality.
- Adapt quickly to changing priorities and deliver high-quality content within tight deadlines.
- Advocate for customers by ensuring documentation meets their needs effectively.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of professional writing with a focus on developer documentation.
- Strong ability to explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience using AI tools for content creation and review.
- Excellent communication skills, including giving and receiving feedback.
- Growth mindset with flexibility to adapt to evolving priorities.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with source control software like Perforce or Git.
- Proficiency in XML-based authoring tools such as Oxygen.
- Experience with DITA and structured authoring methodologies.
- Knowledge of Salesforce and its ecosystem.
- Understanding of Agile development processes.

- Compensation: For Washington-based roles: $127,200 to $213,800. For California-based roles: $138,800 to $233,200.
