About the Role
This role leads the development and execution of data strategies to support marketing analytics, enabling better insights into customer behavior, campaign effectiveness, and return on investment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of business intelligence solutions for marketing teams
- Develop dashboards and reporting tools to track key performance metrics
- Collaborate with marketing leaders to define success metrics and KPIs
- Translate business questions into analytical frameworks
- Drive insights from customer acquisition and retention data
- Identify trends in marketing performance across channels
- Partner with data engineering to ensure data quality and pipeline reliability
- Create scalable reporting systems for ongoing campaign analysis
- Support A/B testing design and interpretation of results
- Advocate for data-driven decision-making across departments
- Mentor junior analysts and improve team capabilities
- Ensure alignment between analytics outputs and business goals
- Evaluate marketing spend efficiency and recommend optimizations
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of analytics tools and methodologies
- Communicate complex findings to non-technical stakeholders
- Drive adoption of self-service analytics tools
- Monitor changes in customer behavior and market conditions
- Assist in forecasting marketing performance
- Integrate data from multiple sources for comprehensive analysis
- Ensure compliance with data governance policies
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree in a relevant field
- Experience with machine learning applications in marketing
- Familiarity with customer data platforms (CDPs)
- Knowledge of attribution modeling
- Experience in subscription-based or marketplace businesses
