Clarios Connected Services is hiring a Large Fleet Sales Manager to drive growth and profitability for our fleet sales division. You will implement sales strategies to achieve targets, lead the fleet sales team, and play a key role in shaping the future of sustainable transportation.
What You'll Do
- Implement sales strategies to achieve fleet sales targets.
- Identify new business opportunities and market trends.
- Work with leadership to develop accurate business forecasts.
- Integrate business models and opportunities in CRM tool (Salesforce).
- Establish and build relationships in line with the Connected Services growth plan.
- Manage the fleet sales team, providing guidance and support.
- Conduct training sessions to enhance the team's sales skills and product knowledge.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to secure sales.
- Analyze market conditions and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.
- Prepare and present sales reports to senior management.
- Work closely with other departments, such as marketing and finance, to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
- Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely delivery of fleet vehicles.
- Develop and manage the fleet sales budget.
- Monitor expenses and ensure cost-effective operations.
- Travel 40-50% throughout North America.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- 8-10 years of experience in sales, preferably in the automotive or fleet industry.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office.
Nice to Have
- MBA is often preferred.
- Previous telematics sales experience a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer service orientation.
- Proficiency in CRM tools like Salesforce and HubSpot to manage customer interactions and data.
- Skill in predicting future sales trends and setting realistic targets.
- Expertise in negotiating deals and contracts with clients.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients and internal teams.
- Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to make informed decisions.
- Working effectively with other departments to ensure alignment with overall goals.
