This is a freelance, entry-level (L1) position centered on structured data evaluation, content validation, and consistent application of quality guidelines. Tasks are assigned on a flexible, first-come basis, with no guaranteed weekly hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Review text content for accuracy, grammar, spelling, and formatting compliance
- Apply data labels and tags according to defined project rules
- Follow step-by-step workflows to assess translation quality and linguistic consistency
- Flag errors or inconsistencies in line with quality standards
- Adapt performance based on feedback and updated instructions
Qualifications
Applicants must demonstrate advanced language ability (C1/C2 level or equivalent) in Traditional Chinese. You should be comfortable working independently on repetitive, rule-based tasks and have a strong eye for detail. Flexibility is essential, as task availability may vary over time.
Preferred candidates will have prior experience in content review, data entry, quality assurance, or related fields. An interest in artificial intelligence, language technology, or data annotation is a plus.
Work Environment
This is a fully remote role open to applicants worldwide. Work hours are flexible but may align with Indian Standard Time (IST) depending on project needs. All tasks are conducted online through secure platforms.
Compensation and Growth
Pay rates vary by country and experience level: $3–$4 USD per hour for applicants from Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Philippines, Indonesia, and Vietnam. This role offers practical experience in AI data operations, skill development in data quality and annotation, and visibility into future project opportunities as programs scale.
