GenePlanet is hiring a Laboratory and Operations Assistant to support critical lab functions and sample processing within our Next-Generation Sequencing laboratory. This role offers hands-on experience in a dynamic scientific environment focused on cutting-edge projects.
What You'll Do
- Monitor the amount and quality of chemicals and consumables
- Maintain laboratory equipment
- Perform a wide array of laboratory tests
- Coordinate and prepare samples
- Process samples and prepare them for analysis
- Conduct quality control measures
- Handle administrative tasks
What We're Looking For
- A PhD or master’s degree in Biological Sciences, Biotechnologies, or a related field from a Faculty of Natural Sciences
- Professional experience in the medical and health fields
- Proven ability in identifying problems
- Strong team working skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- A communicative, flexible, dynamic, accurate, and reliable work style
- Eligibility to work in the EU (e.g., EU citizenship, permanent residency, or a valid work permit)
