Baptist Health is seeking a Lab Assistant I or II to join our laboratory team. In this role, you will provide phlebotomy expertise and problem-solving skills essential for patient care, ensuring the accurate collection, processing, and delivery of specimens for laboratory analysis.
What You'll Do
- Perform the collection, receipt in computer, processing, and delivery of patient specimens for tests performed by the laboratory.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an approved phlebotomy training program or one year of proven experience in a Hospital, Reference, or Physician Office Lab.
Work Mode
This is an onsite position located at Baptist Medical Center South.
