Responsibilities
- Converse with the model in Sorani Kurdish across a wide range of topics
- Verify linguistic accuracy and cultural relevance
- Capture reproducible error traces
- Suggest improvements to our prompt engineering and evaluation metrics
Requirements
- Kurdish (Sorani) language specialist
- Expertise in phonetics, morphology, syntax, regional dialects, colloquial expressions, and cultural references
- Ability to challenge advanced language models on topics like contextual interpretation, dialectical distinctions, semantic accuracy, and cultural nuance
- Documenting every failure mode so we can harden model reasoning
- Clear, metacognitive communication—“showing your work”
Nice to Have
- Degree in Linguistics, Middle Eastern Studies, Translation, or a related field
- Professional experience in teaching, translation, language documentation, or community work
