What You'll Do
Drive sales growth by identifying opportunities within key accounts across Western New York. Conduct in-depth market analysis to shape territory strategy and prioritize customer engagements. Plan and execute customer visits with defined objectives, focusing on understanding operational challenges and aligning technical solutions to real-world needs.
Use active listening and consultative techniques to uncover customer requirements, then translate those into product and service recommendations. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure offerings meet customer specifications and support long-term success. Present comprehensive solutions, follow through on negotiations, and secure purchase commitments.
Document all interactions, including test outcomes, cost-saving opportunities, and sales forecasts. Maintain clear communication across departments to ensure alignment and timely execution. Promote the full portfolio of tools and services, emphasizing measurable value and performance improvements.
Requirements
A Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering or business administration with a technical focus is preferred, though an Associate of Science in a technical field or equivalent industry experience may be accepted. Candidates must have several years of experience selling industrial cutting tools with a focus on new business development, or a background in manufacturing with proven sales ability in both end-user and distribution environments.
Experience operating in a home-based or virtual office setting is required, along with a valid driver’s license. Applicants must reside within the Erie, PA to Buffalo, NY corridor. Prior exposure to aerospace engine machining is a plus.

Work Mode
