dormakaba USA is looking for a Key Account Manager to drive growth within the residential real estate industry. In this role, you will be responsible for acquiring and managing large customers for dormakaba's access solutions, acting as a brand ambassador and collaborating within agile teams at a globally active corporation that maintains the culture of a family business.
What You'll Do
- Analyze the needs and procurement behavior of the residential real estate industry.
- Identify high-potential customers and target groups for acquisition.
- Monitor and analyze competitors and competitive behavior.
- Collaborate on projects in agile sales teams or cross-functional teams.
- Systematically approach new large customers and major organizations in the residential real estate industry.
- Concentrated handling of all relevant decision-maker groups.
- Proactively pursue potential with existing and new customers via various communication channels for selected postal code areas.
- Identify cross- and upselling potential.
- Utilize B2B social media channels.
- Create calculations and offers in close cooperation with consulting.
- Act as a brand ambassador at trade fairs and association events.
What We're Looking For
- A completed Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Economics, Marketing, or a comparable field.
- At least 5 years of sales experience in the residential real estate industry and an existing network.
- Good to very good knowledge of selling complex electronic products and building technology solutions in this industry.
- Knowledge of supporting and advising large (international) customers.
- Ability to identify contacts, qualify customer needs, and close sales opportunities.
- Team player with strong communication and networking skills and a confident presence at the decision-maker level.
- Residence located in the specified sales region.
- High willingness to travel.
- Negotiation-level proficiency in German and English.
