As a Key Account Manager based in Medellín, you will lead strategic engagement with 3M’s most important clients, guiding long-term partnerships and expanding business impact across multiple product lines. You’ll act as a trusted advisor, aligning customer objectives with company capabilities to deliver measurable results.
What You'll Do
Build and maintain relationships with decision-makers at all levels within key accounts, ensuring alignment between client goals and 3M’s offerings. Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies tailored to each account’s unique needs. Lead initiatives that drive account growth by identifying opportunities and creating targeted project plans.
Collaborate with internal technical and commercial teams to deliver integrated solutions. Use data visualization tools to track performance and progress, including the development of A3 dashboards for clear, actionable insights. Stay informed about 3M’s strategic priorities and market developments to better advise clients and position relevant offerings.
Requirements
- University degree in engineering or business administration; a master’s degree is preferred
- Minimum of five years in B2B industrial sales with technical complexity
- Proven experience working with distribution networks
- Strong proficiency in Excel and Power BI for data analysis and reporting
- Hands-on experience with industrial applications of technical products
- Intermediate English language skills
- Flexibility to travel within Colombia as needed

- Background in financial evaluation and analysis
- Experience managing complex accounts and multi-phase projects
