About the Role

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, a Danaher company, is hiring a Key Account Manager to drive sales growth for our Bioresearch product platform, including instrumentation, software, and services. You will be responsible for growing market share, revenue, and profitability in the New Jersey and Delaware territory. This remote position reports to the Eastern US and Canada Regional Sales Manager.

What You'll Do

  • Achieve territory revenue goals and targets via both direct and distribution channels.
  • Prospect for new customers and opportunities, spending a minimum of 3 days per week working in the field.
  • Maintain accurate account data, sales opportunity progression, and field activities in Salesforce.com.
  • Perform technical demonstrations, training, installations, and customer support on equipment and software.
  • Attend and participate in regional and local product shows.
  • Generate accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasts and monitor territory metrics.
  • Execute lead generation activities, including e-blasts, seminars, and in-field prospecting.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%, which may include overnight travel.
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Nice to Have

  • A minimum of 5 years of field sales experience selling into the life science or drug discovery industry. Pharmaceutical or Medical Device sales do not meet this qualification.
  • Experience in PowerPoint, Excel, Word & Salesforce.com, with demonstrated data analysis capability.
  • 5 years of field sales experience with research instrumentation and knowledge of absorbance, fluorescence and luminescence, Western Blot & Imaging technology.

  • Compensation range: $99,500 to $104,500.

Work Mode

This is a remote position covering the New Jersey and Delaware territory.
