About the Role

Lead the expansion of innovative diagnostic solutions in a high-impact role focused on key healthcare accounts across Oregon, Idaho, and Nevada. This position drives market penetration of advanced infectious disease testing platforms through strategic relationship management and data-informed decision making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as trusted advisor to hospital systems and point-of-care networks, delivering tailored solutions aligned with clinical and operational goals
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to increase product adoption, optimize reagent utilization, and secure long-term contracts
  • Lead customer business reviews, identify performance trends, and resolve challenges in collaboration with internal teams
  • Analyze market dynamics and customer data using PowerBI and Salesforce to forecast demand and guide sales strategy
  • Train and manage third-party distributor teams, ensuring consistent representation and market execution
  • Coordinate with sales, marketing, technical support, and finance to deliver seamless customer experiences
  • Negotiate contracts, prepare bids, and guide pricing strategies to maximize profitability and retention
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of competitive products and regulatory requirements, including FDA standards
  • Deliver regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and field insights to leadership

Qualifications

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree and have at least four years of successful sales experience in medical diagnostics or a related clinical environment. Deep familiarity with laboratory operations, health economics, and health system workflows is essential. The role requires frequent regional travel—up to 35% overnight—with a hybrid work model based in the territory.

Preferred candidates will have experience managing distribution partnerships, strong financial analysis skills, and a track record in complex sales cycles and contract negotiations. Proficiency with Microsoft tools, Salesforce, and PowerBI is expected.
