3M is hiring a Key Account Manager

Role Summary: 3M is on the hunt for a dynamic Key Account Manager to supercharge our strategic partnership with Mahindra & Mahindra. We're looking for someone who breathes automotive industry expertise, with deep knowledge of M&M and their trim tier suppliers across paint shop, polymer, and trim functions. Key Responsibilities: • Drive the account strategy and growth roadmap for Mahindra & Mahindra, covering MRV, SSU, and CDMM locations • Build and nurture rock-solid relationships with key stakeholders across M&M's various functions • Hunt down and pursue new business opportunities within the M&M ecosystem, including Tier-1 suppliers • Lead high-stakes stakeholder engagements, presentations, and strategic discussions • Deeply understand M&M's organizational structure, procurement processes, and technical requirements to perfectly align our solutions • Deliver regular market and account intelligence to internal teams including R&D, product management, and leadership • Coordinate cross-functional internal teams to deliver killer proposals, solutions, and customer support • Challenge the status quo with innovative, out-of-the-box growth strategies Candidate Requirements: • Must have hands-on experience with Mahindra & Mahindra as a primary customer • Proven track record in automotive OEM environments or as a Tier-1 vendor, especially in trims or polymer applications • Direct experience working with departments like paint shop, trims, and polymer at OEMs • Communication and interpersonal skills sharp enough to manage complex customer relationships • MS Office ninja (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) • Agile mindset ready to learn and adapt in a fast-moving environment • Strategic thinking capability to create growth vision and rally stakeholders Preferred Attributes: • Previous experience in Mahindra vendor ecosystem in a customer-facing role • Familiarity with MRV, SSU, and CDMM operations • Proven ability to lead account planning, business reviews, and cross-functional coordination Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Polymer, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering • Minimum 10 years of relevant industry experience Learn more about 3M's creative solutions to the world's problems at www.3M.com or on Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn @3M.
