Instagrid is hiring a Key Account Manager - Construction - Northern California

About the Role

Instagrid is seeking a Key Account Manager for Construction in Northern California to expand our market presence. You will be responsible for direct sales and sales via rental companies into the construction, utility, rescue & security services, film & media, and event markets. You will own the sales cycle from lead generation through closing deals and initiating delivery, serving as the main point of contact for large B2B customers in the western US region.

What You'll Do

  • Own the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing for customers in the USA.
  • Establish and execute the sales strategy, developing sustainable business relationships with B2B customers.
  • Grow a firm sales pipeline and define sales quotas, analyzing and continuously improving results.
  • Foster a community and build relationships with key opinion leaders and influencers.
  • Provide valuable insights on trends, customer needs, sales methods, product offerings and marketing initiatives.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant B2B sales experience.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
  • Exceptional and proven negotiation skills and techniques.
  • Proficient in Salesforce software, as well as Microsoft Office.
  • Able to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Able to work with confidential information in a professional manner.
  • Must have a clean and valid driver’s license.
  • Must have a reliable vehicle to meet customer needs.

Nice to Have

  • Experience selling hardware products into the construction, film & media or rental sectors.
  • Experience with start-up operations.
