What You'll Do
Lead the commercial direction for the Modern Trade Channel, shaping strategies that align with regional and global priorities. Develop and execute customer-specific plans to meet volume, revenue, and profitability goals.
Ensure consistent in-store execution by managing visibility, planogram compliance, promotional accuracy, pricing, and product availability. Use merchandising best practices to maximize shelf impact and drive purchase decisions at point of sale.
Oversee the planning and implementation of promotional campaigns, track performance metrics, and report on outcomes. Monitor KPIs including distribution, coverage, and sales trends to guide decision-making and optimize results.
Take ownership of commercial negotiations, including terms and agreements with key retail partners. Work closely with internal teams in marketing, finance, supply chain, and shopper insights to ensure alignment and operational efficiency.
Manage and develop a field team responsible for trade marketing and sales execution. Identify opportunities to improve channel performance and drive sustainable growth while adhering to budget and investment guidelines.
Requirements
- Hold a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- Bring at least 8 years of experience in commercial or sales roles, with a focus on key account management
- Demonstrate deep understanding of the Dominican Republic’s modern trade landscape
- Show proven ability in negotiation, strategic planning, and performance-driven execution
- Communicate effectively in intermediate to advanced English
- Utilize digital tools efficiently to manage data, reports, and workflows
