Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans with flexibility for adjustments throughout the academic year
- Adapt teaching methods to address varied student learning needs
- Keep thorough and up-to-date records of each student's academic progress and developmental milestones
- Apply instructional strategies grounded in educational research during daily planning and classroom activities
- Oversee and guide student conduct to maintain a productive learning environment
- Foster an inclusive and encouraging classroom atmosphere conducive to learning
- Use approved curricula that reflect students' diverse cultural, linguistic, and educational backgrounds
- Support and uphold school-wide behavioral and cultural expectations
- Engage with families through regular communication and meetings about student academic and emotional development
- Integrate digital tools and technology into instruction to enhance student learning
- Assist in organizing and carrying out non-instructional school events as required
- Work collaboratively with fellow educators and staff through clear and consistent communication
- Complete additional assigned tasks as needed by school administration
