Responsibilities
- Develop and implement adaptable lesson plans throughout the academic year
- Tailor teaching methods to accommodate varied student learning needs
- Keep thorough and up-to-date records of each student's academic progress and development
- Apply instructional strategies grounded in educational research
- Maintain consistent and constructive classroom behavior management
- Foster an inclusive and encouraging learning atmosphere
- Use curricula that reflect the cultural, linguistic, and educational diversity of the student population
- Enforce established school-wide behavioral and cultural standards
- Engage with families to discuss student academic and emotional development
- Integrate technology into daily instruction to enhance student learning
- Support non-academic school activities as required
- Work collaboratively with fellow educators and staff
- Complete additional responsibilities as assigned by administration
Compensation
The salary range for this role is $41,000 - $50,500. Actual starting pay may vary based on location, qualifications, education, experience, and other relevant factors.
