Responsibilities
- Develop and adapt lesson plans throughout the academic year as needed
- Tailor teaching methods to support learners of varying abilities and backgrounds
- Keep thorough and up-to-date records of each student's academic and developmental progress
- Apply evidence-based instructional strategies in daily classroom planning and teaching
- Oversee and guide student conduct in the classroom setting
- Foster an inclusive and encouraging learning atmosphere
- Use curricula approved by the school that reflect students' varied cultural, linguistic, and educational experiences
- Enforce established school-wide behavioral and cultural standards
- Engage with families to discuss student academic performance and social-emotional development
- Integrate technology into regular classroom activities to enhance learning outcomes
- Assist in organizing and carrying out non-instructional school events when necessary
- Work collaboratively with fellow educators and staff through regular communication
- Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by administration
