About the Role
This position involves traveling to customer sites, loading debris and unwanted items into vehicles, and transporting them to disposal facilities while maintaining safety and service standards.
Responsibilities
- Collect and load junk from homes and businesses
- Sort materials for recycling, donation, or disposal
- Operate service vehicle safely between job sites
- Interact professionally with customers on-site
- Follow safety protocols when handling heavy or bulky items
- Assist team members during loading and transport
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment and vehicle
- Adhere to local disposal regulations
- Lift and carry heavy objects as needed
- Communicate job progress to dispatch or supervisor
- Complete service tasks within scheduled timeframes
- Report vehicle maintenance issues promptly
- Use protective gear during removal operations
- Handle furniture, appliances, and construction debris
- Follow assigned routes efficiently
- Respond to customer inquiries about the service process
- Keep work areas safe during removal operations
- Track items removed for inventory purposes
- Assist with pricing estimates on-site when required
- Maintain respectful and courteous behavior at all times
Compensation
$18 to $22 per hour, depending on experience
Work Arrangement
Full-time, on-site with travel between locations
