Experian is looking for a motivated Junior Software Engineer to support the development and modernization of our ClaimSource applications. You will collaborate with the team to build reliable and scalable software, gaining hands-on experience with modern technologies in a global environment.
What You'll Do
- Develop, maintain, and improve software solutions using C#.
- Enhance existing applications by implementing new features and optimizing performance.
- Assist in converting legacy applications into containerized environments using Docker.
- Participate in transforming monolithic applications into microservices.
- Work with teams to ensure database performance and reliability using MS SQL or Postgres.
- Support cloud and deployment initiatives, including AWS services and containerized pipelines.
What We're Looking For
- Experience developing applications with C# in a professional or academic environment.
- Working knowledge of MS SQL or Postgres, with the ability to troubleshoot and improve database performance.
- Familiarity with Docker or similar containerization technologies.
- Understanding of microservices concepts and modern software architecture practices.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and current deployment practices.
- Interest or experience in supporting cloud-based systems, ideally with AWS.
