As a Junior Shift Leader, you’ll play a key role in maintaining efficient daily operations within the Live Gaming sector. Your responsibilities will include overseeing shift activities, managing staff allocations, and stepping in during absences to ensure uninterrupted service. You’ll support onboarding, training, and retraining initiatives, helping new and existing team members adapt and perform effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee internal rotations, shift coverage, and real-time operational adjustments
- Handle incoming calls and manage communication during shifts
- Coordinate human resources to meet operational demands
- Support new employee integration and ongoing staff development
- Utilize tools such as JIRA, WIKI, Microsoft 365, and scheduling platforms for task and documentation management
- Assist in organizing employee engagement initiatives and client promotions on live tables
- Maintain operational records, reports, and internal documentation
- Collaborate across departments to enhance team performance
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures and company values
- Step in during unplanned absences and resolve emerging issues promptly
Qualifications
You bring at least one year of experience in Live Gaming or a comparable role. Strong communication skills—both written and verbal—in English are essential. You remain composed under pressure, capable of addressing unexpected challenges with clarity and professionalism. Proficiency in Microsoft 365, particularly Excel including formula use, is required. You’re adaptable to shifting schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and committed to learning and applying new systems efficiently.
