We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Recruiter to support our talent acquisition initiatives. In this role, you will work closely with senior recruiting staff and program leaders to fulfill active hiring needs across technical and professional positions. You will play a key part in identifying qualified candidates, assessing fit, and maintaining efficient recruitment workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and implementing sourcing strategies for current job openings
- Partner with program leadership to understand role requirements and candidate expectations
- Identify potential candidates through job boards, professional networks, and resume databases
- Conduct initial phone interviews to assess qualifications, experience, and alignment with role demands
- Review resumes systematically and compare them to defined job criteria
- Keep candidate records up to date in the Applicant Tracking System
- Facilitate scheduling and logistics for interview stages
- Develop talent pools for future hiring needs in key skill areas
- Monitor and report on sourcing activities and recruitment metrics
Qualifications
Applicants should have 1–3 years of experience in recruiting, talent sourcing, or a related field. Prior exposure to screening candidates for technical or professional roles is highly valued. Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and online sourcing tools is expected.
- Proven ability to interpret job descriptions and evaluate candidate backgrounds
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level of accuracy and organization when managing multiple roles
- Experience in IT, data, analytics, or consulting recruitment is a plus
- Background supporting project-based or consulting teams is advantageous
