About the Role
The firm is looking for an attorney with 1 to 4 years of experience to manage lemon law claims, represent clients in disputes with manufacturers, and handle case documentation and client consultations.
Responsibilities
- Manage individual lemon law cases from intake through resolution
- Advise clients on rights under state and federal lemon law statutes
- Prepare legal documents including complaints, demands, and settlement agreements
- Represent clients in arbitration and court proceedings as needed
- Conduct client interviews and assess case eligibility
- Maintain accurate case records and comply with reporting requirements
- Communicate regularly with clients to update case status
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex litigation strategies
- Respond to manufacturer defenses and counterarguments
- Ensure compliance with consumer protection regulations
- Participate in case strategy meetings and team reviews
- Handle correspondence with opposing counsel and third parties
- Monitor deadlines and court dates for active cases
- Assist in developing client communication templates and resources
- Stay current on changes in automotive warranty and consumer laws
- Support internal process improvements for case management
- Contribute to client education materials on lemon law rights
- Coordinate with experts for vehicle inspection and evaluation
- Evaluate settlement offers and advise clients on outcomes
- Maintain professional conduct in all client and court interactions
